In Cincinnati, there has been more investigation to its city's human trafficking. More and more cases of human slavery are popping up everywhere. An organization called National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, is working to inform everyone about this growing crisis.

What kind of labor force these victims are used for

The Trafficking Route to the USA comes from Canada, Dominican Republic, Guatemala,Haiti, India, Mexico,Philippines, and Thailand.

The report includes to what extent the U.S. follows the standards. The report also informs of the prosecution of human trafficking such as how much time offenders should spend behind bars.

Today's Spotlight is on Destiny Rescue. This organization provides a way to be easily involved with stopping human trafficking. Holding a Jewelry party benefits those victims that have been rescued.
These women make jewlery and Destiny's Rescue gives it to people who are willing to hold a party. The money then goes back to these women who made the jewelry.

This group called Truckers Against Human Trafficking is making a difference in the trucker world. A trucker can go to this website and receive wallet cards which have info about how to report a case of human trafficking. There is stats, videos, stories, and ways to get involved.

Many people do not realize how big the Human Trafficking business is. I certainly did not realize until recently. I was shocked to find out that it happens right here in the USA.

Human trafficking is forcing an innocent person to work hard as a labor slave or sex slave. They are tricked into a horrific lifestyle instead of living a good life like they were promised. Their lives are altered forever and usually they have no way out.

Thankfully, organizations like http://www.freetheslaves.net/ , http://www.ijm.org/ , http://www.childrenofthenight.org/ , and http://www.anitslavery.org/ are out there working hard against this market called Modern Slavery. Getting the word out about this crisis is a major part of these organizations' projects. They work all over the world to help rescue victims and get people involved in the movement against Human Trafficking.
